December means gifts ! Gift giving can be v overwhelming-- especially when everyone seems to have everything already. So what do we do in the midst of all the holiday chaos?! We find that slowing down and keeping it simple is key. So while I was out shopping for one of the IT girls in my life's birthday last week I decided to do a little haul for you guys of some the great gifts that can translate to really everyone. POKETO - Wave Comb

If you don't already know Poketo, I have just completed the majority of your holiday shopping for you. It is the absolute best gift giving store (at least if you're West LA based you know their brick and motors pretty much do the shopping for you). Fun fact here though is if you have long hair (girls AND boys) we're not supposed brush our hair with paddle brushes (or any other brush for that matter) when our hair is wet. So, I know myself personally has a tough time keeping track of my wet combs, everyone can use a new sparkly comb! This one was was a great size, loved the shape for easy gripping, and I just could not get past the tortoise/pink confetti glitter combo. Also one of my favorite gifts for men (but I go so far as to have them engraved... we'll save that post for next year(; )
WARY MEYERS - Astral Shower Soap

The soap itself is just the cutest thing I've ever seen. It pretty much speaks for itself. This adorable little company is based out of Maine and make all their gorgeous little curiosities in small batches in Cumberland. Astral Shower scent is described as a fresh, airy scent, with hints of dew-picked greens and earth. Just go check out their website. I mean the product description alone likens itself to the work of late Japanese designer Shiro Kuramata’s embedded concrete and terrazzo work-- UHHHHHH need I say more?
MAISON LOUIS MARIE - No. 04 Bois de Balincourt 8.5 oz Soy Wax Candle

You can always add a soy candle to any gift and you're basically done. Maison Louis Marie is a progressive beauty brand fully committed to producing environmentally sound products with no harmful additives, no animal testing and reduced pollutants. Like they win your heart with core values alone, but there isn't a scent from them that isn't absolutely to die for. I got Remi No. 04 which is described as a sandalwood fragrance with dominant cedarwood accord supplemented by a spicy cinnamon nutmeg complex with an earthy vetiver note. Whatever we're both pretty domineering ass bitches so masculine scents go over easy between us girls (:
